Polymer Concrete Floor Block were produced from special resins derived from petroleum. Due to rising raw material prices, and the flooring blocks limited demand, they are no longer cost effective to manufacture. Other factors include increased cost of special aggregates and rising transportation cost due to their dense weight.
Jennison Wright now offers a more user and environmentally eco friendly affordable alternative industrial floor block that has shock absorbing qualities of end grain woodblock along with the water and moisture resistant features of polymer floor block combined into one. These blocks are referred to as Rock Block. Unlike end grain wood block, Rock Block will not swell when subjected to water or moisture nor will it chip or rut out like polymer concrete block due to its extreme brittleness.
Jennison Wright Rock Block are composed of 24% recycled post-industrial fillers, crushed rock, stone dust, and special bitumen cement, heated and compressed under extreme pressure in a forging type press. By using recycled materials we save energy and conserve our natural resources. With Jennison Wright it is easy to “think green” and save money too.
